Role: - Sales, Events, & Accounting Coordinator - *_Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont, IL*_ Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales, Events, and Accounting Coordinator to support the Sales and Accounting teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. What You 'll Do: * Assist the sales team with administrative tasks: verify room blocks in the PMS match the contract and Envision, enter rooming lists, set up group master and house accounts, route charges, and process deposits. * Generate daily revenue reports for management and team members * Reconcile cash and credit card sales daily * Authorize credit cards for groups prior to arrival, ensure posted charges are accurate, and process final group/event payments. * Support sales initiatives including prospecting, public relations, and marketing as assigned * Assist in tracking revenue goals and department targets. * Assist in processing direct bill applications by checking financial references, etc. * Send reminders for overdue payments and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances. * Assist with invoice processing to ensure timely payments. Support month-end close process. Who You Are: * A hospitality professional with experience in sales, events, or hotel operations. * A highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. * A strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. * Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel sales software (e.g., Envision, Cvent, etc.) is a plus. * A team player who collaborates seamlessly across departments to bring events to life. * Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. * Adaptable and resourceful, ready to tackle changing priorities with a positive attitude.
