Job Title: Wastewater Business Development Representative Location: Greenville, SC (Hybrid) - Open to candidates willing to relocate from SC, NC, or GA Department: Sales Reports To: Director of Business Development Job Summary TRC is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development & Account Manager to lead sales efforts within the industrial wastewater treatment sector. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making an impact, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a mission-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Execute lead generation and business development strategies * Build and manage relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives * Present tailored wastewater treatment solutions to potential clients * Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, project management, and leadership to develop and deliver proposals * Manage multiple sales cycles from initial contact through closing and hand-off * Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to sales forecasting * Travel to client sites as needed to support business development and relationship management Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred * Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within the industrial wastewater or treatment solutions industry * Proven experience working with clients holding wastewater pre-treatment or NPDES permits * Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Familiarity with CRM systems and documentation practices * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills * Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships Key Competencies * Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative * Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex sales cycles * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills * Strategic thinking and solution-selling mindset * Driven by commission and achieving measurable goals Work Environment * Hybrid work structure (office and field-based) * Regular interaction with internal teams and external clients * Travel required across the Southeast (primarily SC, NC, GA) TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
