Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Director to lead our membership growth initiatives. This role is crucial in fostering relationships with current and prospective members, enhancing member engagement, and driving business development strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in account management and sales, with a proven ability to analyze market trends and leverage technology to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities * Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership and enhance member satisfaction. * Manage relationships with existing members, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. * Identify new business opportunities through outside sales efforts and networking. * Lead the membership team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental objectives. * Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to track membership metrics and analyze performance data. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that promote membership benefits and drive recruitment efforts. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong communication with members. * Conduct regular assessments of membership programs to ensure they align with industry trends and member needs. Experience * Proven experience in account management or a similar role within a membership-based organization. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. * Demonstrated success in outside sales or business development, particularly in technology or technical sales environments. * Proficient in using Salesforce for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships. * Excellent analytical skills to evaluate market data and member feedback for continuous improvement. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
