Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating customer product needs and obtaining orders for Surface Wellhead equipment/systems. Roles and Responsibilities: * Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations. * Promptly enter sales orders in Fishbowl. * Perform same day source planning of wellhead systems and/or additional customer requirements. * Ensure the accuracy of open sales orders * Establish strategic relationships with new and existing customers. Provide reports on sales activity, sales forecasts and other quantifiable sales objective measurements to management. * Seek and identify substitutions for quoted equipment that is not on hand/inventory. Utilize excess or slow moving inventory within standard operating procedures. * Effectively manage and utilize customer property within customer requirements. * Communicate changes and/or cancellations to customer requirements and delivery issues to supply chain and Supervisor. * Maintain rig board to allow visibility of current customer requirements by active rig, equipment type, state of preparedness and expected ship date. * Proactively pursue compensation for expediting charges incurred through sales prior to manufacturing or shipping * Participate in regularly scheduled meetings. * Ensure and secure adequate and proper back-up parts and equipment on service jobs and communicate accurate information to the Service Department * Provide input and assistance to other functional areas in order to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels. * Keep abreast of new products, specifications and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses.
