Job Overview The Account Manager plays a vital role in managing client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring seamless logistics operations within the truck brokerage industry. This position focuses on expanding business opportunities, optimizing freight movement, and maintaining strong partnerships with shippers. Additionally, the role includes pricing analysis to ensure competitive rates and maximize revenue. No book of business required. Key Responsibilities * Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for shippers, ensuring their freight needs are met. Maintain regular communication, anticipate challenges, and provide tailored solutions. * Sales & Business Development - Identify new business opportunities, prospect potential clients, and expand the brokerage's customer base. * Account Growth & Retention - Develop strategies to increase revenue from existing clients, upsell services, and enhance customer retention. * Logistics Expertise - Utilize industry knowledge to optimize freight movement, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency. * Pricing Analysis - Work with complex data sets to determine and set competitive prices, ensuring market share growth and revenue optimization. Develop pricing strategies for promotional and seasonal adjustments based on competitor, market, and customer data. * Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution - Address any shipping delays, disputes, or logistical challenges swiftly to maintain trust and satisfaction. * Market Analysis & Industry Insights - Monitor trends to optimize pricing and service offerings while providing clients with valuable market updates. * Performance Monitoring - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, cost savings, and service quality to continuously improve client satisfaction. * Documentation & Compliance - Ensure all freight paperwork is completed accurately and in line with regulations.
