We are seeking a friendly and reliable Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities - Greet customers and provide assistance as needed - Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy - Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product information - Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times - Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed - Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals -Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications - Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculations. Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing and discounts is beneficial - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to effectively communicate in English; bilingual skills are a plus - Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system is desirable - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Shift: * Day shift Work Location: In person
