Benefits: * Bonus based on performance * Opportunity for advancement * Training & development Paul Cashman State Farm Insurance 3433 State St Ste B Santa Barbara CA compensation: $26 - $30/hour, DOE, plus potential for bonus' throughout the year. employment type: full-time job title: Insurance Agent Property & Casualty Licensed 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday In Santa Barbara office Qualifications * Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services. * Self-starter with a results-driven approach to generating leads and closing sales. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with popular computer software as well as State Farm systems and processes. * Strong listening, oral and written communications skills. * Highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results. * Ability to learn and apply product and customer knowledge to professionally service and assist in the marketing of State Farm products. * Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders. * Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior. * Ability to organize and act on several activities concurrently. * Must be able to pass a background check Responsibilities * Familiarity with insurance products and regulations. * Familiarity with digital marketing and internet lead generation. * Engage with existing clients to identify opportunities for additional coverage or policy upgrades. * Solicit referrals from existing clients and centers of influence. * Conduct needs analysis and present suitable insurance options. * Follow up on leads and referrals in a timely manner. * Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities.
