Leasing Consultant (Fairfax, VA) 330 unit garden type apartment complex is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant. As leasing consultant, he/she will be prospective tenants' first impression, therefore, portraying a professional image is essential. This position requires good communication and customer service skills, assertiveness, and the ability to close a sale. Prior residential leasing experience preferred but not required. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday thru Saturday. Saturday is a workday for this position with a weekday and Sunday off. JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure Leasing office, vacant units and common areas meet readiness standards on a daily basis and report deficiencies to the Property Manager. Respond to phone and e-mail inquiries and convert them to an on-site appointment. Provide complete information on the apartment, the property and surrounding area. Present the property, vacant unit and amenities to prospects in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Provide prospects with brochure, floor plans and all pertinent material. Execute sales and closing techniques successfully. Interact with our marketing consultant and implement any marketing initiatives. Maintaining advertising sites such as apartments.com and Zillow.
