Full description of the position

Position Title: Outside Sales Representative (Remote) Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative (Remote) is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role involves working remotely to prospect, negotiate, and close deals, while leveraging technology to manage and track sales activities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and skilled in building relationships and driving sales. A key aspect of this role includes meeting with potential clients or customers in person, typically outside of the office, to build relationships and close sales. Key Responsibilities: * Lead Generation and Prospecting: * Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking. * Develop and execute a plan to generate new business opportunities. * Client Meetings and Presentations: * Schedule and conduct virtual or in-person meetings with potential and existing clients. These meetings are typically held outside of the office to facilitate face-to-face interaction and build stronger client relationships. * Present products or services, demonstrate their value, and address any questions or concerns. * Sales Negotiation and Closing: * Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals effectively. * Develop customized proposals based on client needs and requirements. * Account Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. * Regularly follow up with clients to address any issues, provide support, and explore additional opportunities. * Sales Tracking and Reporting: * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. * Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, progress toward targets, and market trends to the sales manager. * Market Research and Strategy: * Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. * Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead of competitors and address market needs. * Collaboration and Communication: * Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer support, to align on sales strategies and ensure client needs are met. * Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing feedback and insights. * Sales Training and Development: * Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. * Travel and Field Work: * Occasionally travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, or participate in other business activities as required. Meetings with potential clients or customers typically occur outside of the office to foster stronger business relationships. Qualifications: * Experience: Proven track record in outside sales or business development, preferably in a remote or field-based role. * Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. * Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Infor CRM software, sales tools, and virtual communication platforms. * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred but not always required. * Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
