Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property leasing and management, with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional service to potential tenants. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting our properties, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Responsibilities * Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing detailed information about available units. * Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to potential renters. * Manage the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and conducting background checks. * Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other related documents using office filing systems. * Ensure compliance with Section 8 housing regulations and other relevant laws. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with current tenants to enhance customer satisfaction. * Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track interactions and follow up with leads. * Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently. * Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards. Qualifications * Proven experience in property leasing or property management is preferred. * Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients. * Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is desirable. * Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism. * Knowledge of relevant laws governing rental properties is beneficial. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files and records. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
