Job Summary: In the International Program Consultant role, you will help us grow our business by helping build our sales pipeline, support our existing client base and their travelers. You'll use your resourceful, personable, and intelligent approach to provide exceptional customer support throughout all stages of the trip planning process. Base salary plus excellent benefits and uncapped commission potential. Overseas travel is part of the training program that includes a sales mentor and starting the position with your own sales territory. Learn about all aspects of educational travel, work within a fun and lively team and spend your days talking with educators about the destinations you love! What You'll Be Doing: * Achieve Sales Targets : Achieve established passenger, group leader and overall sales goals. Grow business with both new and established accounts within your designated territory. Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales. Skillfully probe for, and identify the educational, planning and professional/personal development needs of potential Group Leaders and present an ACIS program or service offering in a way that successfully addresses these needs. * Lead Generation: Generate leads through cold calling and prospecting to establish new business. Balancing sales with top-tier customer service. * Sales Presentations : Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations, showcasing the value of an ACIS Educational Travel Program. Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups. * Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth. * Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and traveler support, to ensure seamless communication and client satisfaction. * Build and Maintain Client Relationships : Develop and nurture relationships with clients, school administrations, and others to promote ACIS. Build account and contact profiles identifying active group leaders and key decision makers within accounts, and captures important information relative to travel history, curriculum initiatives, and program building objectives that ACIS educational travel programs can address. Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience * Bachelor's Degree * Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal English), and presentation skills, especially with large groups * Demonstrated and documented sales success * Excellent analytical, negotiation & organizational skills * Demonstrate the ability to prospect and develop/understand customer needs * Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be highly detail oriented. * 7+ years sales experience preferred with proven track record * Experience of living or traveling internationally * Ability to travel Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics * Highly organized and self-motivated. * Creative, self-aware, an outside-of-the-box thinker able to execute initiatives. * High levels of empathy and integrity when engaging with customers. * Willingness to accept and contribute new ideas and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. * Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * The ability to work independently and within a team while exercising judgment and initiative. Extra Credit Qualifications * Proficiency/fluency in a second language. * Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM programs.
