Retail Sales Advisor Location: Creekside Park Village Green, 26400 Kuykendahl Rd, The Woodlands, TX 77375 Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 annually + commission Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed Join Our Growing Team! As a Retail Sales Advisor , you will play a key role in engaging with customers , guiding them through the sales process, maintaining showroom standards, and providing operational support to ensure a premium experience that reflects the Yanmar brand. What You 'll Do: Sales & Customer Service * Welcome and engage walk-in customers, addressing inquiries with professionalism. * Assist customers through the entire sales process--from initial contact to transaction completion--ensuring a seamless and positive experience. * Recommend products that align with customer needs, providing detailed information on features and benefits. * Process point-of-sale transactions efficiently and manage customer data in the CRM system. * Follow up with customers post-visit to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships. Showroom Operations * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented showroom that upholds Yanmar's high standards. * Perform regular quality checks on display products, ensuring they are functional and visually appealing. Administrative Support * Update customer records in the CRM system and assist with tracking leads and sales data. * Support scheduling, event coordination, and other daily operational needs. * Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and inventory levels. Event & Marketing Support * Assist with in-store promotions, events, and marketing initiatives designed to drive foot traffic to the showroom. * Help set up and manage showroom events, coordinating logistics and providing customer service during events. What You 'll Bring: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Understanding of basic sales techniques (e.g., consultative selling, handling objections, upselling). * Familiarity with retail transactions, including payment processing and point-of-sale systems. * Strong knowledge of customer service principles, including effective communication and conflict resolution. * Comprehensive understanding of Yanmar products, including features, benefits, and unique selling points. * Ability to explain technical details clearly and concisely to customers. * Basic understanding of CRM systems and the ability to manage customer data effectively. What You 'll Need: Job Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher is a plus. * 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably with sales responsibilities. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. * Basic knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, sales processes, and point-of-sale systems. * Proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word). * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on showroom needs.
