Featuring thrilling water slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and a variety of dry attractions, we provide unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. Position Overview The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue and guest visitation. This role requires a proactive leader with strong relationship-building skills to forge partnerships within the hospitality industry, local community, and civic organizations. The position is critical to expanding group sales programs and enhancing Daytona Lagoon's presence as a top destination for group events and outings. Key Responsibilities * Build and Maintain Hospitality Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with local hotels, resorts, and other hospitality businesses to drive group bookings and promotional collaborations. * Develop Group Sales Programs: Create and implement innovative group sales initiatives targeting birthday parties, sports teams, corporate outings, and civic organizations to boost attendance and revenue. * Engage with Community Leaders: Establish and strengthen relationships with local community leaders, civic groups, and organizations to promote Daytona Lagoon as a community hub for events and activities. * Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities, set sales targets, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals. * Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with marketing to develop promotional campaigns, packages, and incentives that align with sales objectives. * Track and Report Performance: Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to senior management to inform strategic decisions. * Represent Daytona Lagoon: Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and community functions to enhance visibility and reputation. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred). * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or entertainment. * Proven track record of building partnerships and driving group sales in a competitive market. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. * Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities with a results-oriented mindset. * Knowledge of the Daytona Beach market and local hospitality industry is a plus. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
