Job Overview As an Apparel Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. You will assist with measuring guests for intimates, shape wear, foundations to gain trust and show solutions that will accommodate their goals Understanding the sales process is key while adhering to Dillard's values which are a must. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating merchandise. * Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing returns. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that apparel displays are visually appealing. * Team player with ability to pivot and prioritize efficiently. * Utilize retail math to assist customers with sizing, pricing, and product information. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions. * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering calls or taking customer orders over the phone. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Experience * Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required. * Must be able to handle cash and transactions accurately. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. * Ability to create relationships and repeat clientele * Selling skills, ability to upsell, persuade is vital for success, willingness to learn is key. * Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately. * Experience in retail sales or knowledge of apparel trends is beneficial but not mandatory, however willingness to learn is key.
