Full description of the position

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Account Manager is responsible for the maintenance and growth of existing and/or new accounts. This person should be able to cross sell and up sell to grow these accounts. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with OEM's. They will support key existing accounts, grow existing business at a profitable level, develop business partner relationships with existing accounts, and identify growth areas/opportunities with existing accounts. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Support the development of plans aimed at maintenance and growth of existing and/or new accounts. * Provide customer feedback to the company; support the development of value propositions. * Responsible for margin cost analysis and provide insight and input for pricing at existing accounts. * Maintain and expand existing relationships between YAPP USA and Customer. * Coordinate communication between YAPP USA internal teams and Customer. * Provides information to YAPP USA organization regarding competitors, potential partners, and market trends. * Proactive communication of customer needs for future product development. * Lead negotiations of various supplier agreements including LTA's, and pricing agreements with Customers. * Prepare and submit itineraries, routing call reports, monthly reports and other sales-oriented documents as defined by the YAPP management. * Identify opportunities of growth in the account and lead account strategy and planning. * Develop and strengthen relationships with decision makers and influencer in the customer organization and drive penetration in various functions including outside OEM's. * Leverage YAPP USA Automotive Systems, Inc.'s unique value proposition to shape opportunities for the customer and increase share of revenues from single source deals. * Lead proposal for development, negotiation and commercial terms for large deals. * Regularly monitor sales trends, market dynamic and incorporate into existing account strategy and plan. * Drive collections. * Conduct regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns, and to enable the delivery teams in ensuring high customer satisfaction. * Coordinate internal resources in sales and delivery to give the customer an enhanced experience across touchpoints. * Build a trusted group of reference-able customers who can vouch for YAPP USA Automotive Systems, Inc. * Become a trusted advisor to the customer and participate in customer's strategic planning as it relates to YAPP USA business interest. * Drive resource forecasting for the account from both confirmed opportunities as well as the opportunities in pipeline. * Support the solutions teams with customer perspective and competitive intelligence to develop new vertical and horizontal solutions. * Showcase YAPP USA Automotive Systems, Inc.'s solution as a strategic fit for the customer organization through workshops, boot camps and strategy meets. Push for higher valve/value-added services and solutions to the customer. * Deep study competitors, put forward new program's quotation strategy, ensure the company in the new product competition and business negotiations in a favorable position. * Active learning product knowledge of existing and new products. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Proficient in computer operating system, familiar with the company's internal IT management system, proficient in PLM, OA and CRM system. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the 'core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is expected for this position up to 30%. Required Education and Experience * B.S. Degree from an accredited University * Minimum 3years of experience in Sales Preferred Education and Experience * At least 5 years of experience in the Automotive Industry * In depth knowledge of APQP.
