Ready to lead a high-performing insurance team and shape strategy at the agency level? We're looking for a seasoned sales leader to drive growth, retention, and team development across multiple lines of business. Key Responsibilities * Lead, train, and support assigned sales staff, including both direct and dotted line reports * Partner with the Agency President and line of business leaders to build and maintain a high-performing insurance team * Oversee and develop key operational areas: - Agency Operations - Agency Accounting - Carrier Relations - Succession and Talent Planning - Insurance Compliance * Provide regular reporting to document results and performance metrics * Continuously evaluate workflows to improve efficiency and consistency * Ensure oversight of all required compliance training * Maintain awareness of and adhere to all applicable industry laws and regulations * Maintain regular and predictable attendance Additional Duties * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills * 10-15+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred * Proven background in sales, sales management, and team supervision * Prior insurance agency ownership or management experience preferred * Strong industry knowledge across multiple lines of business * Experience with Applied EPIC agency management platform preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel * Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills * High attention to detail Education & Licensing * Bachelor's Degree preferred * Active Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses required * Industry designations such as CIC, CRM, AAI, ARM, or CPCU strongly preferred Travel Requirements * Ability to travel between locations and attend meetings, seminars, or projects that may require overnight stays Physical Requirements * Must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms for standard office tasks * Occasionally required to stoop or kneel * May occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds Equipment Used * Standard office equipment including PC/laptop, phone, fax, and Microsoft Office Suite Headquartered in North Central Indiana and founded in 2009, TalentSource is a sole source recruiting firm offering an awesome team of subject matter experts in talent acquisition!
