Business Development Director - Job Description Brian's Cabinets, a 45+ year old custom cabinetry manufacturer located in gorgeous Bend, Oregon has recently taken on a long-term investment partner and has plans to grow our business to the next level. Exciting things are taking place and we are seeking a business development director looking for growth opportunities to help us get there! This position is a full-time, on-site position that will be reporting to and mentored by the Sales Manager. Brian's Cabinets holds fast to our core values and seeks to hire employees who embody them. Our company core values are: * Positivity * Team-centric * Productive and action oriented work ethic * Adaptability * Integrity/Honesty Qualifications A qualified applicant would have a strong understanding of the Central Oregon residential construction market dynamics and contractor relations. A strong applicant would additionally have a working knowledge of woodworking, job bidding and job engineering. Our ideal candidate would be versed in the bid and fabrication process, but also be a dynamic go-getter who is willing to advocate, problem solve and facilitate exceptional customer experiences between the company and builder clients through digital, in-person, and job- site communications. Responsibilities * Local builder outreach, advocacy and concierge service. * Ongoing, programmatic, internal designer outreach and engagement. * Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, often interrupted environment. * Working knowledge of woodworking and related bidding software. * Willingness to travel on occasion to develop similar relationships with builders beyond the Bend market to continue to grow the company's regional presence. * Eventually becoming well versed and reliable in our proprietary bidding process and technologies. * Tenacious and competitive with a drive to make our company succeed. * Growth-oriented and improvement-focused as this position is designed to evolve into a management/executive position. Skills/Experience * 3+ years experience in the Central Oregon residential construction market. * Coursework in engineering, construction, or project management desired. * People-oriented. * Well organized. * Proficient in details such as estimating but astute enough to provide personal service across various clientele and personalities. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Strong prioritization and time management abilities. * Never feel that "this isn't in my job description". * Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. * Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record.
