Senior Sales Advisor L*ocation:* Creekside Park Village Green, 26400 Kuykendahl Rd, The Woodlands, TX 77375 Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annually + commission Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed Join Our Team and Elevate the Showroom Experience! If so, Yanmar America is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to play a key role in enhancing showroom operations and guiding customers through their purchasing journey. As a Senior Sales Advisor , you will provide expert product guidance , foster customer relationships, and support the development of junior associates. You'll play a pivotal role in driving sales success while maintaining Yanmar's premium brand standards in a dynamic showroom environment. What You 'll Do: Sales Leadership & Strategy * Support the execution of retail sales strategies to meet and exceed showroom targets. * Mentor and coach junior sales associates to improve their performance and product knowledge. * Demonstrate advanced product knowledge to deliver a seamless, consultative sales experience. * Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market data to optimize product displays, promotions, and engagement. * Assist customers with financing options by providing clear and accurate information. * Implement best practices to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience at every touchpoint. Marketing & Brand Awareness * Partner with the marketing team to execute in-store promotions, digital campaigns, and event marketing to increase showroom traffic. * Support local marketing efforts, including community partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach initiatives. * Leverage customer insights to refine marketing strategies and improve conversion rates. * Coordinate with external vendors to implement marketing plans while maintaining brand consistency. Showroom Operations * Ensure daily showroom operations run smoothly, maintaining a clean and organized space aligned with Yanmar's high standards. * Perform quality checks on display products to ensure functionality and visual appeal. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare the showroom for promotions, events, and product launches. * Identify operational improvements and recommend solutions to enhance the overall customer experience. Customer Experience & Relationship Management * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by offering personalized solutions and expert recommendations. * Ensure a high-quality, tailored customer experience that meets individual needs and expectations. * Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach. * Proactively follow up with customers post-purchase to encourage repeat business, referrals, and gather feedback. Training & Development * Assist with onboarding and training of new associates, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. * Stay current with industry trends, product updates, and competitor insights to educate and mentor team members. * Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement to enhance team effectiveness. Reporting & Analytics * Monitor and track individual and team sales performance using CRM tools. * Prepare regular reports on key sales metrics, customer feedback, and showroom performance. * Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with management to implement data-driven strategies. What You 'll Bring: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Proficiency in consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling techniques. * Familiarity with marketing campaigns (digital and traditional), branding, and promotional strategies. * Strong knowledge of customer segmentation, audience targeting, and competitive analysis. * Understanding of event marketing and community engagement strategies. * Expertise in showroom operations, including visual merchandising and customer interaction management. * Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and CRM software for tracking customer interactions and sales performance. * Ability to map customer journeys and create a customer-focused environment that aligns with Yanmar's brand values. What You 'll Need: Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred). * 5+ years of experience in a retail or showroom sales environment , preferably in a premium retail setting. * Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Experience with CRM software, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies. * A passion for retail innovation and customer-centric experiences.
