Sales Representative (Heavy Manufacturing) [Flat roll products] Salary: $65,000-$75,000.00 + Sales Commissions + 12% 401K Expectation to earn six-figure salary Territory: Carolinas and Southern Region As a Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include selling flat roll carbon steel products, addressing client inquiries and concerns, and managing accounts or regions. This position is crucial in the development and implementation of sales strategies, identification of new business opportunities, and establishment of strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. You will have the flexibility to work in any state. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree preferred; or a minimum of three (3) years of field sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience in sales within the manufacturing industry is required. * Must have experience selling steel products. QUALIFICATIONS: * Demonstrated track record of success in driving sales growth, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals. * Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and budgets. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others. * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Willingness to travel within the USA extensively, around 75%+ of the time, to meet with clients, attend industry events, and work flexibly with a significant amount of local and overnight travel. * Possesses standard reading, writing, and math skills. * Familiarity with the steel products or manufacturing industry. * Basic knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques, with an emphasis on post-sale customer service. * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and present a positive and trustworthy image of the company to the public. * Possesses proficient reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to achieve sales objectives. * Holds a valid driver's license and has a clean driving record. BRESPONSIBILITIES: * Identify new customers through phone calls, personal visits, internet research, networking, and business publications to continuously increase sales and expand the customer base. * Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by staying up-to-date on company activities, industry trends, and government regulations. * Prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers and maintain accurate pricing and configuration documentation for all quotes. * Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications. * Ensure accurate processing of customer orders and regularly monitor customer needs to ensure continuous availability. * Provide post-sale customer service as necessary to maintain strong customer relationships and increase sales. * Share relevant information that may benefit others within the company. * Excellent benefits include medical coverage with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and up to $750 wellness credit; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long-term, and short-term disability coverage.
