Responsibilities - Foster a positive and welcoming environment by responding to resident inquiries with care and professionalism. - Play a key role in leasing, overseeing file approvals, and providing tours for prospective residents. - Take charge of rent collection and ensure smooth financial operations by issuing notices, managing delinquencies, and coordinating move-out procedures. - Partner with the maintenance supervisor to handle service requests and vendor relationships, maintaining an appealing and functional community. - Take ownership of administrative tasks, including digital filing, accurate data entry, and effective communication across all channels. - Use your creativity to assist with social media marketing, promoting the community while adhering to ethical guidelines. - Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining high standards. - Build strong resident relationships and contribute to retention efforts by resolving concerns with empathy and efficiency. - Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and follow up. - Help train and guide property staff, contributing to the team's overall success. Qualifications - Proven experience in customer service or sales roles; experience in property management is a plus. - Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with residents and vendors. - Knowledge of relevant laws governing property management practices. - Excellent conflict management skills to resolve resident issues amicably. - Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing outstanding service. - Proficiency with - AppFolio (preferred) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
