Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while selling insurance products to meet the needs of our clients. As an Insurance Agent, you will leverage your sales skills and insurance knowledge to build strong relationships with customers, ensuring they receive the best coverage options available. This position requires a proactive approach to outside sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. Responsibilities * Actively prospect, generate, and nurture leads to build a strong pipeline of potential clients. * Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess their insurance needs and explain available products and services. * Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new customers, including networking, cold calling, referrals, and attending industry events. * Close sales by converting leads into customers, offering suitable policies to meet their needs. * Offer a variety of insurance products including life, auto, home, and business insurance. * Provide personalized insurance solutions based on individual or business needs. * Stay informed about new products, services, and industry changes to ensure that clients receive the most up-to-date information and advice. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction with their insurance coverage. * Act as a trusted advisor, addressing questions and concerns, and offering advice on policy changes or additional coverage options. * Provide ongoing support by assisting clients with policy updates, renewals, and claims. * Process new policy applications, ensuring accurate and timely submission. * Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and cancellations. * Provide guidance to clients on how to file claims and follow up to ensure prompt resolution. * Meet and exceed individual sales targets and performance goals. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. * Regularly review sales performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure that targets are met. * Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote insurance products and services. * Attend community events, trade shows, or online webinars to network and build brand awareness. * Utilize digital marketing tools, social media, and other online platforms to generate leads and connect with prospects. * Ensure compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry standards, and legal requirements to best serve clients. * Continuously improve knowledge of the insurance market and competitive landscape. Qualifications * Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred. * Strong background in outside sales or retail sales is advantageous. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service. * Ability to negotiate terms and conditions effectively with clients. * Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve a diverse clientele. * Familiarity with insurance products and services is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing client accounts. * Insurance License : Must hold an insurance license in Nebraska. * Self-Motivated : A strong drive to succeed and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. * Customer-Centric : Passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting client relationships. * Goal-Oriented : Ability to work towards and achieve monthly sales targets and goals. * Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools to manage customer relationships and track sales.
