Location: Pender Nursery, Inc., 2620 Wall Store Rd, Garner, NC 27529 Job Type: Onsite, Commission-Only, Sales Representative for a Wholesale Nursery About Us Pender Nursery is the grower of the most diverse mix of quality plant material in North Carolina and grower of the best Encore Azalea varieties on the east coast. Job Description We are seeking ambitious and self-driven Sales Representatives to join our team on a commission-only basis for a customer base outside of North Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for plants, sales experience, has a strong work ethic, and a desire to control their earning potential. As a sales representative, you'll have the opportunity to service an existing territory with a potential of $2.6 million dollars with a customer base of over 1,000 existing accounts. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation. * Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. * Present and demonstrate the value of our plants and services to potential and existing customers. * Meet or exceed territory sales targets. * Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business and referrals. Requirements * Proven sales experience or a strong desire to succeed in sales. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. * Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively. * Must be able and willing to make customer visits. Compensation * Top performers can expect to earn between $70,000-$90,000 annually, based on effort and results. Commission paid on collected invoices monthly. * Incentives available for exceeding sales goals.
