Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. * Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments. * Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to encourage sales. * Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed. * Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock counts. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance. * Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and assist in pricing strategies. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Proficiency in cash handling procedures and familiarity with cash registers. * Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction. * Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. * Ability to supervise junior staff or assist in training new employees is a plus. * A genuine interest in sales with a proactive approach to upselling products.
