Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves and arranging displays. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. * Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and register operations. * Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks. * Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer engagement. * Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing is beneficial. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for providing excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
