Customer Center Sales Associate A Role Overview The purpose of Customer Center Sales Associate A is to increase sales of PBV products through the use of suggestive sales skills while in the process of recording product orders from Food Service Customers. Day-to-Day Responsibilities * Answer Inbound Calls from PBV customers based on account leads based on approved product campaign initiatives. * Records customer product orders accurately. * Educates customers on new products offered. * Matches product benefits with customer needs. * Identifies and handles customer inquiries. * Applies customer service best practices to resolve customer issues regarding order execution, delivery execution, requests for new equipment placements through the entry of service requests. * Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications * High school diploma required. Associate's Degree preferred. * Four (4) years of experience in customer service or sales required. Five (5) years of experience is preferred. * Previous Call Center experience preferred. * Must have superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and business partners. * Must have an enthusiastic, positive attitude and possess the ability to communicate and interact in a professional manner. * Must be able to utilize customer service skills and critical thinking skills to assess customer needs based on verbal and nonverbal clues and match products/benefits to those needs. * Must be able to exhibit superior telephone skills. * Good judgment and the ability to prioritize customers' needs. * Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
