Locations : San Diego, CA Valencia, CA Bakersfield, CA Fresno, CA Sacramento, CA Enhanced Landscape Management (ELM) is a landscape industry leader in California and Nevada with over 500 employees. Our Maintenance Division offers comprehensive landscape care to a wide array of clients such as homeowner associations, commercial facilities, hospitality/resort, retail, office parks, high-end estates and public works. Our growth and recent expansion has created the immediate need to grow our team of dedicated professionals. ELM is seeking a talented and experienced business development professional for our various branch locations to lead local, landscape maintenance business development efforts. General Duties * Develop sales leads by a combination of cold-calling and expanding upon existing client relationships * Research local market and develop sales plan in order to reach sales goal * Properly assess client needs and analyze what services should be proposed * Estimate, propose and sell landscape maintenance services in the local service area * Collaborate with operations staff on new maintenance estimates/proposals * Attend and maintain relationships of industry organizations such as CAI, IREM, BOMA, etc. * Track and report on sales progress on a weekly basis Qualifications * Three years of experience in business to business sales - in the landscape industry (preferred) or service industry * Exhibit excellent communication skills - written and verbally * Strong track record of sales performance * Flexible hours relating to attending sales/marketing events and industry organization meetings * Have and maintain a professional image * Have strong work ethic and be able to effectively manage time * Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. * Must pass pre-employment drug screening * Clean driving history Benefits * Competitive salary * Commission/incentive program relating to sales * Medical, dental and vision care available with generous company contribution 401k * Employer paid life insurance * Company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, credit card, and fuel card for business purposes * Paid vacation and sick leave * Paid holidays * Tuition reimbursement Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: * Commission pay Experience: * Business development: 3 years (Required) * B2B sales: 3 years (Preferred) * Landscape maintenance: 3 years (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
