PumpMan Cleveland has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Maple Heights, OH. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technical sales, a passion for cultivating client relationships, and a deep understanding of the Cleveland and Ohio territory. Key Requirements: * At least 7+ years of experience with pumps, motors, and equipment associated with the water and wastewater industry * Willingness to commute regularly within the state of Ohio * Strong technical knowledge of pumps, motors, and equipment used in the water & wastewater industry * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets * Existing contacts in the Cleveland municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors (highly desirable) Responsibilities: * Grow the direct Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial sales markets in Cleveland and surrounding areas within Ohio * Prospecting local businesses for replacement, maintenance, and service needs. * Provide technical advice and customized solutions to customers * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals * Follow-up on incoming sales and service leads * Maintain relationships with customers, provide ongoing sales support and service support * Collaborate with the repair team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project completion * Assist with the continued development and expansion of our product offerings * Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets * Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities * Represent the company at trade shows and industry events in the state of Ohio Qualifications: * In-depth knowledge of pumps, motors, repair processes, and industry standards * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent time management and organizational abilities * Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the Cleveland area Preferred Qualifications: * Established network of contacts in Clevelands municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors * Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to pump and motor systems * Experience in selling to government agencies or large corporations PumpMan, a Harrington company provides an outstanding benefits package, designed to support our employees health, financial wellness, and work-life balance, with options that go above and beyond standard offerings!
