Account Director (consumer): Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) is a leading, full-service, mid-size public relations agency based in New York. A successful candidate will have at least 6+ years ' of agency experience and a commitment to provide exceptional client service.: * This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote. PLEASE ATTACH RESUME : Responsibilities: * Develop strategic plans/programs for all assigned clients and oversee the implementation of all plans/programs by team members ensuring the highest quality and client service: * Oversee the day to day operations of all accounts with responsibility for deadlines and budget adherence: * Produce high quality content across all forms of media: * Cultivate relationships with existing media contacts and continually source new contacts: * Pitch and place coverage for clients in top tier publications: * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior level staff supervising quality and performance and ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined: * Actively participate in new business efforts and seek opportunities to grow assigned accounts and source new opportunities: Qualifications: * Bachelor 's degree in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field: * 6+ years ' agency experience preferably in luxury brands, consumer products or hospitality : * Excellent verbal and written communication skills: * Client facing with the ability to persuade and influence: * Proactive with strong attention to detail: * Ability to multi-task and work with tight deadlines: * Established media contacts: To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this exempt role is $80k-$95k/yr.
