Role Summary: The Logistics SALES Executive is responsible for driving new business development and expanding the company's client base. This is a sales hunter role, requiring proactive prospecting, lead conversion, and relationship- building. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, possesses a strong ability to identify and secure new opportunities, and can seamlessly transition from sales to operational execution. Key Responsibilities: * New Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and close new client accounts to drive revenue growth. * Lead Conversion: Utilize cold calling, networking, and industry outreach to generate a steady pipeline of potential clients. * Sales Strategy: Develop tailored approaches for securing partnerships, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives. * Pricing & Quoting: Provide competitive pricing based on market conditions, operational costs, and service requirements. * Operational Execution: Secure carrier capacity, book shipments, and oversee initial operational setup to ensure seamless execution. * Negotiation & Relationship Management: Build relationships with carriers and clients to optimize cost efficiency and service quality. * Collaboration: Work closely with the Logistics Account Manager to transition accounts for ongoing management and growth. Qualifications: * Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; minimum 3 years of brokerage experience required. * Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight brokerage, procurement regulations, and logistics operations. * Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to prospect, close deals, and negotiate competitive rates. * Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and solutions effectively. * Problem-Solving & Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and market conditions. * Organization & Time Management: Ability to handle high transaction volumes and multiple projects efficiently. * Collaboration & Adaptability: Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
