If so, then Astro Plumbing Supply would like you to join the dedicated team at our Santa Ana location as an Inside Sales Representative. Our team has been servicing the Southern California community for over 50 years and Santa Ana over offering the very best in commercial, residential and industrial plumbing supplies. We are a close-knit group working together to provide the best service to both new and existing customers. As an Inside Sales Representative with Astro Plumbing Supply your specific duties will include, but are not limited to: * Interacting with customers in person, by phone, email, and text. * Deliver excellent customer service that drives sales and customer satisfaction and close sales * Grow and retain an established customer base; develop new customers using outbound calling campaigns * Process sales orders and turn quotations into orders through customer interactions * Obtain delivery details from customers on when/where orders are needed * Be a constant and dependable point of communication for customers * Stay up to date with customer projects and anticipate product needs * Expedite customer material with vendors when required * Follow up with customers on quotes and outstanding orders * Investigate and resolve customer issues such as pricing deductions, product returns and warranties * Support Counter Sales and Warehouse Operations with customer orders, pick-ups and issues * Light Driving (pick-up truck) for deliveries Basic and Preferred Qualifications: * 5 to 10 years of previous experience with or knowledge of Plumbing Products and/or Application(s) and excellent customer service skills * Experience in plumbing contractor or inside sales contractor * Good communication and rapport skills-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with co-workers and customers/vendors * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software * Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders (Eclipse-Eterm Experience a Plus) * Deadline and detailed oriented & ability to multi-task * Be a team-player and dependable Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift to 40 pounds, sit/stand/walk for up to 7 hours a day and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Astro Plumbing Supply Co. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
