Crochet Kitty, creators of safety-conscious cat toys, is looking for a dynamic Sales Repurresentative to our team. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers to expand access to our unique products and drive business growth. Job Responsibilities: * Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies that align with Crochet Kitty's mission and overall business goals. * Create accurate sales forecasts and ensure accountability for achieving sales targets, including meeting key performance indicators. * Build and nurture relationships with retailers, focusing on customer retention while identifying new opportunities. * Assist in acquiring new customers and ensuring long-term partnerships. * Lead regular sales meetings to review performance, address training needs, and support team development. * Build selling tools for the sales team including presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials. * Monitor market trends and competitor activity to proactively address changing demands and customer behaviors. * Participate in pricing strategy discussions to maintain competitive positioning while meeting company objectives. * Maintain expert knowledge of Crochet Kitty products, pricing, and services to support the sales process effectively. * Prepare and submit reports on sales activity, forecasts, and customer engagements. * Be able to report your activity in our CRM and be accountable for maintaining accurate records. * Monitor market trends and competition to provide feedback on sales strategies and product development. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives. * Identify potential partnerships or collaboration opportunities to expand the reach of Crochet Kitty products and services. * Continuously seek out new markets, customers, and channels for growth opportunities. In addition to these responsibilities, a successful Sales Representative at Crochet Kitty should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, and external partners. They should also have excellent time management skills to balance their daily activities effectively while meeting deadlines. Furthermore, having great organizational skills and attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed accurately and on time. In order to excel in this role, a Sales Representative should also have strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure partnerships with potential clients. They should be confident, persuasive, and have a thorough understanding of the product or service they are selling. Having a positive attitude and a resilient mindset is also important in this role, as it can often involve dealing with rejection or criticism from retailers. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. * 5 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in a customer-facing capacity. * Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. * Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with an analytical approach to sales strategies and customer needs. * Self-driven and results-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for achieving goals.
