The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team and the company's customers. * A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems. * A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. * Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. * Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly. Job duties: *Superior level customer service. Main point of contact for customers responding in Preferred's ridiculously responsive manner. *Communicate and enter specific customer information into appropriate applications *Assist production managers with determining root cause of non-conformance issues *Work with production managers to complete customer required documents *Follow up on quotes submitted to customers *Ensure all processing and quoting queues are empty daily *Make certain all order and quote requests are responded to within 4 business hours *Update, create and revise sales department SOPS *Be a positive influence on the team. Set a good example with work ethic, attendance and attitude. *Create and implement continuous improvement ideas QUALIFICATIONS: *High School diploma or equivalent. *Superior communicator, able to stimulate and motive others while being aware and responsive to needs and concerns. *Experience in metal fabrication industry is desired *Knowledge and experience in CAD, Solidworks and ERP systems is favored. *Demonstrated leadership success erred Machine capabilities and processes Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Ability to Commute: * Holland, MI 49424 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Holland, MI 49424: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
