Our friendly and knowledgeable retail inside sales associates are dedicated to ensuring that our customers and contractors are provided with everything that they need. Competitive Wage: $22.00 - $25.00 range (DOE) Schedule: Monday -Friday, Day shift, (Saturdays in the summer) WHAT YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL LOOK LIKE: * Offer customers and contractors estimates and quotes for masonry, hardscape, and landscaping products * Execute full sales transaction cycle; processing with cash, checks, credit cards * Field and assist customer and contractor inquiries * Flex your stellar sales, communication, and listening skills * Work as an integral part of the team SKILLS & QUALIFICIATIONS: * Knowledge of Landscaping and Hardscaping products * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff * Must have good communication skills * Experience operating a forklift * Ability to remain focused in a busy environment * Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis * Ability to work effectively in a retail store & yard environment * Strive for continuous improvement PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam * Must be able to walk and stand 8+ hours a day and the ability to lift up to 75lbs by self * Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull and reach above head * Exhibit punctuality, dependability, and reliability * Possess an optimistic attitude and drive to work hard Genest Concrete is an equal opportunity employer, considering all qualified applicants and employees for hiring, placement, and advancement, without regard to a person's race, color, religion, national origin, age, genetic information, military status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or protected veteran status.
