Full description of the position
We are experiencing 20% year-over-year growth and are expanding our sales team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will work closely with Marketing and Sales to help drive our Sage Intacct ERP business. You will develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and inbound lead follow-up. Key Objectives: * Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up * Identify champions and key stakeholders within target accounts and prioritize for prospecting campaigns * Incorporate strategic preparation to articulate Sage Intacct's value proposition with senior-level executives * Create engaging and personalized prospect email communication * Set qualified meetings for Account Executives * Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in CRM * Achieve, and exceed, weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified lead, new contacts, etc.) * Develop a comprehensive understanding of Alta Vista Technology's offerings Qualifications: * Highly motivated to develop a career in sales * Passion for software and technology and continual learning * Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills * Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment * Self-directed and self-motivated; Ability to work independently * Possess high degree of resilience, enabling you to bounce back from setbacks * Hunter mindset; you strive to grow and develop and never back down from a challenge * You're extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback * BS/BA degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance or related fields * 1-2 years previous sales experience a plus Why You 'll Love It Here: You are looking for a sales career, not just a job.
