LATAM Sales Assistant Manager Remote - Must reside in SLC Metro UT area * What is OOCL? Within our organization, the M&S - Marketing and Sales team is responsible for the strategic development & maintenance of our customer base. You will work with a professional cross-functional team who will assist in the identification, development, and support to achieve an industry leading customer experience. * OOCL Benefits (What we offer to you): * 401k Retirement Plan AND Pension Plan * Paid Vacation/PTO * Sick time * Most Federal Holidays * Additional personal Floating days * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Excellent Growth and Advancement Opportunities * Referral bonus * Bi-Weekly pay * Tuition Assistance after 12 months * Weekday Schedule Main Position Responsibilities: * Sales Management - Manage and drive dedicated LATAM sales to achieve the Model Ship (MS) plan by implementing and executing the LATAM business development strategy. * Business Plan - Develop target customer programs based on goals and objectives set by the Trade team to ensure MS targets are achieved. * Sales Development and Training - Train and develop sales reps by educating them on OOCL culture, long-term relationship building and exceeding customer expectations through our T ake* _I_* t* _P_* ersonally (TIP) approach. * Business Development - Build OOCL's brand by establishing direct relationships with global customers that are not visible through our agency sales channels and ensuring that the dedicated sales team develops customer relationships. * Customer Relations - Liaise with the Sales and Trade teams to develop LATAM based business and expand LATAM market share in US. Liaise with NVOCC Key Account Managers (KAM) and Trade to develop local relationships at the branch level in each LATAM country office. * Allocation Control & Measurement - Collaborate with Space Management team members to assign, manage and control company assets based upon profit, production, yield and sales plan objectives. Direct planning and strategizing with Operations - LATAM Flow.
