Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of inside sales representatives focused on driving growth in assigned strategic sales sectors. This role involves developing outreach strategies, supporting proposal efforts, identifying new opportunities within existing customer bases, and collaborating with outside sales, business development, marketing, and capture teams. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, coach, and grow the inside sales team to meet and exceed lead generation and GP targets. * Oversee daily operations of the inside sales function including call campaigns, email outreach, CRM activity, and pipeline reporting. * Develop sales scripts, outreach templates, and call guides tailored to individual customer groups procurement processes. * Identify and qualify new business opportunities within government agencies through market research and direct outreach. * Support BD and proposal teams in pre-RFP engagement and early-stage capture efforts. * Collaborate with Sales Director and Marketing to refine strategies. * Ensure data integrity and proper use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce and GovWin). * Track KPIs and deliver regular performance reports to sales director. * Stay informed about government procurement trends, contract vehicles, and competitor activity. * Prepares draft sales budget in collaboration with sales director * Acts as company representative at trade association meetings * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR Comparable 5+ years of inside sales or business development experience, preferably within a government contracting or federal services environment. * 2+ years in a management or team lead role. * Strong understanding of the government procurement lifecycle, including RFI, RFQ, RFP, Sources Sought etc. * Experience with government sales platforms such as SAM.gov, GovWin, GSA eBuy, etc. * Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. * Must be a U.S. Citizen; active security clearance preferred but not required.
