A Japanese food importer seeks a Japanese bilingual Sales Representative. Salary: $64,350 (DOE) Duties and Responsibilities: * Identify sales opportunities and potential customers, such as grocery stores, restaurants, and other commercial entities. * Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on dependability, quality merchandising and good service. * Conduct sales presentations and introduce new and/or promotional products to prospective and existing customers. * Plan and propose fairs to increase sales of business partner retail stores * Contact suppliers for quotes, product information, and certifications, as needed. * Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activities, networking, and other gatherings. * Regularly interacts with customers to provide information about product availability, quality, and prices by visiting or calling * Take products orders daily from customers by visiting or calling * Monitors and collects customer payments and ensures that customers' payments and credit are in good standing. * Offers new products and services to customers as they become available. * Proactively identify and resolve potential problems. * Report to supervisor/manager on regular basis, keeping records of sales and related activities. * Other duties as required to support on-going operations and overall sales activities. Qualifications * At least 2~3 years of experience in a sales position for Japanese/Asian food * Excellent interpersonal communication skills * Valid driver's license and good driving record * English and Japanese are required * Customer-oriented
