Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with clients in their home, demonstrating flooring solutions, and managing sales within your designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, flooring materials, and lead generation, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities * Engage in direct sales activities, including occasional prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales. * Utilize inside sales techniques to effectively communicate with customers via phone and email. * Conduct in-home consultations to measure and showcase the features and benefits of our flooring solutions to prospective clients. * Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract preparation and finalization. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. * Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to help shape product availability. Requirements * Proven experience in sales, preferably within the floor covering industry. * Strong understanding of direct sales processes. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to achieve results. * Familiarity with CRM software, Excel, DocuSign and MeasureSquare is preferred but not required.
