Position Overview: As the Sales Manager at Turn 14 Distribution, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales team's success by providing leadership, guidance, and support to our inside sales staff. You will be responsible for nurturing a high-performing team, meeting revenue targets, and fostering strong relationships with your team and vendor partners. Responsibilities: * Support and develop inside sales staff through hands-on assistance, professional guidance, and personal development initiatives to ensure a positive work-life balance. * Conduct mid-year and annual employee performance evaluations in a timely manner, setting clear expectations and goals for individual team members. * Foster a team-first environment among staff, encouraging collaboration and a shared commitment to achieving sales targets. * Maintain strong working relationships with your manager peers to ensure effective coordination and communication across departments. * Meet or exceed revenue and margin sales targets, taking proactive steps to drive sales growth. * Conduct interviews and participate in hiring to expand your sales team as needed. * Ensure that assigned yearly spending remains at or under budget to maintain financial stability * Maintain a strong understanding of all markets we specialize in, as assigned, to support your team and address customer needs effectively * Become an expert in all aspects of Turn 14 Distribution, including web tools, processes, terms and conditions, competitive advantages, and more * Develop fruitful relationships with vendor partners to promote our Sales team's success and strengthen our relationship Requirements: * A strong understanding of the Aftermarket Powersports Performance segment as a whole * Mastery of providing exemplary customer service * Live our company's core values * Exceptional teamwork skills * Strong at closing sales * Visiting dealers as an individual or with our Outside Sales Team is required * Professionally represent Turn 14 Distribution and/or our manufacturers at industry trade shows * Strong leadership and management skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
