As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities * Perform thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. * Execute repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs. * Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and provide updates on vehicle status. * Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. * Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). * Assist with diesel engine repairs when necessary. Skills * Proficient in automotive service techniques with hands-on experience as a service technician. * Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes. * Familiarity with ADAS technologies and their applications in modern vehicles. * Experience working with hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to the automotive industry. * Knowledge of powertrain systems and diesel engine repair is a plus. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
