HVAC Comfort Advisor* This position is located in ORLEANS, MASSACHUSETTS. Orleans, Massachusetts is nestled on the picturesque elbow of Cape Cod. Check us out online: [please apply online] Northstar Heating and Cooling is currently looking to add an HVAC Comfort Advisor to our Team! Someone with experience estimating residential and light commercial installation projects or someone with Lead / Foreman experience looking to transition into an estimating position. This position will work directly with the owner, and he will provide hands-on training! What you will be doing: * Estimating residential and light commercial installations * Load calculations for proper sizing of equipment * Wiring material lists * Job costing and Labor hours * Writing up estimate and installation contracts * Working directly with the owner Qualifications: * 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience * Valid driver's license and insurable driving record * Basic accounting skills * Microsoft Office experience, Word, Excel, Outlook * Data Entry skills * WriteSoft experienced desired * Performing load calculation for the size of equipment * Writing up contracts * Material lists * Pricing together for the job/job costing * Organized with good communication skills * High school diploma or equivalent * Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems desired * Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions desired * Certification in HVAC from a Trade School is desired * Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local incentives Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pay Scale: 10% Commission- with the expectation of a minimum salary of $100k -$200k+ Relocation Package if needed Benefits: * Medical insurance 50% company paid * 6 paid holidays * Sick - Employees earn one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked and can use up to 40 hours per year * 401K with match * Company uniform, phone allowance * Company vehicle * Relocation Package Available
