Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations and ensure the successful execution of events. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for Hospitality, and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients and vendors. This role requires a blend of creativity in event planning and strategic marketing to enhance our catering services. Responsibilities * Develop and implement catering menus tailored to client preferences and event themes. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations for events. * Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown. * Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for supplies and services. * Oversee the training and management of catering staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. * Collaborate with the marketing team to promote catering services through various channels, including event marketing initiatives. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation and service. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. * Assist in fundraising events by providing catering support that aligns with organizational goals. Experience * Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the restaurant or hotel industry. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. * Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple events simultaneously. * Experience in event planning, including logistics coordination and execution. * Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is a plus, as well as knowledge of event marketing strategies. * Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and clients.
