One of our clients, a respected design and consulting firm with deep roots in the Midwest is hiring a Business Development Manager to join their Madison team. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role focused on expanding market share in sectors such as higher ed, healthcare, commercial, and industrial development. The ideal candidate brings strong local ties, experience selling technical services, and the ability to blend business strategy with technical insight. Description: * Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders * Lead strategic growth initiatives within core markets (education, healthcare, commercial, industrial) * Collaborate with internal teams to align market strategies with technical capabilities * Participate in project oversight and ensure alignment between client goals and internal delivery * Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and community initiatives * 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the AEC space * Familiarity with architecture/engineering consulting services and public/private development cycles * Strong understanding of Wisconsin's AEC market, particularly in the Madison area * Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Planning, Architecture, etc.) * Licensure (PE, PLA, AICP) preferred but not required * Previous experience in project management is a bonus
