Full description of the position

Role Description CLIENT is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines fieldwork and office-based follow-up, with a focus on building client relationships and driving new business. HYBRID ROLE: You'll spend a minimum of three days a week on the road , meeting with customers, developing new sales routes, and managing active projects. The remaining time--typically two days a week --will be spent at your desk following up on submitted proposals, building your pipeline, and planning strategic outreach. We ask that you be in-office at least once every two weeks to stay connected with the team. If you're energized by face-to-face interaction, proactive about prospecting, and love closing deals in a high-growth environment, we'd love to talk. Compensation: Base salary, plus uncapped commission based on performance. Territories to cover: * Brooklyn * Queens * Long Island Key Responsibilities * Conduct in-person client visits at least 3 days per week to build relationships and expand the customer base * Develop and manage a sales territory, focusing on generating new leads and closing on submitted proposals * Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure timely submission of client projects and smooth proposal processing * Work with the project management team to ensure projects are executed to the client's satisfaction after the order is processed * Spend 2 days per week working from home or the office, handling follow-ups, managing your pipeline, and strategizing new sales routes * Attend in-office meetings at least once every two weeks for team updates and collaboration * Track sales activities and client interactions in the CRM to maintain accurate records * Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in a related industry (e.g., lighting, construction, or manufacturing) * Comfortable with cold calling and in-person client visits * Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on consultative sales * Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and remotely * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field * Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and proposals at once * Team player with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, including estimating and project management * Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growing environment Our Benefits Include: * Competitive Base Salary with uncapped commission potential * Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays * Company-provided laptop for work flexibility * Expense reimbursement for business-related travel and client entertainment * 401(k) plan with company match * Health Insurance: 75% employer-paid, plus access to additional PEO benefits, including group rates for vision and dental coverage * Cell Phone Stipend: Monthly reimbursement to help cover work-related mobile expenses * Flexible Schedule: Autonomy to manage your calendar and client visits--results matter most Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Travel reimbursement * Vision insurance * Work from home Compensation Package: * Uncapped commission Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): * Do you have proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related industry like - lighting, construction, or manufacturing ?
