Part-Time Front Desk Sales Associate position for retail pet bakery, pet supplies, and grooming salon. Responsible for scheduling appointments, retail and services sales, light inventory stocking & light merchandising, a little daily social media with a strong emphasize on creating the best experience for the pet and pet parent in a fast pace environment of a boutique grooming salon. Previous salon scheduling experience will go a long way in this position. Previous sales experience is a must. After training this position can lead to a full time position! You will be great in our stores as a retail sales associate if you; * Over 18 years of age. * Love animals and people and like to sell. * Fast learner! Cheerful, Happy, Upbeat, Confident person to engage with customers * A strong commitment to customer service and a real people person with a good sales record * Great communication skills, multi-tasker, organized, ambitious individual to do what it takes to get the job done. * Open to learning the Woof Gang Way, a drive to make things happen, energetic self-starter to complete task in the day and enjoys a busy, fast pace environment. * Love working in a team and appreciate the chance to collaborate and yet comfortable and confident to work alone. * Effective interpersonal skills with all levels of management * Feel comfortable with responsibilities like cash handling and store safety * Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers, and co-workers * Proven sales skills Fast pace environment that keeps you on your toes and the mind sharp. Sales Associate Qualifications: * 1-year previous retail, receptionist/customer service experience is a must! * Motivated with excellent communication skills * Preferred previous experience working with animals * High School Diploma, basic math skills * Able to lift up to 50 pounds of merchandise * POS system knowledge * Social Media knowledge and skills * Basic math & computer knowledge * Understands Excellence in Customer Service * Previous salon scheduling or appointment setting experience a plus! Sales Associate General Duties and Responsibilities; * Answer phones and scheduling appointments. * Greet customers, respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise. * Consistent professional fun customer service; communicate effectively with customers to determine needs and building trust with clientele * Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions by Providing accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services) * Cross-sell products, conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing * Manage returns of merchandise * Maintain clientele database, follow up customer calls, customer service management and community outreach and marketing. * Stocking shelves, report and maintain appropriate inventory levels * Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions, inform clients of store promotions. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints * Maintain clean, organized, and efficient sales floor * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, manage merchandise returns * Assist with animals. * Protect the Woof Gang Bakery brand message and philosophies by maintaining a professional and personal appearance * Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned Why Woof Gang Bakery?
