Inside/Outside Sales Representative - Residential and Commercial Fences San Francisco East Bay Full-Time 1099 | Commission | In-Person with Tech-Enabled Tools Superior Fence & Rail is growing fast in California, and we're looking for energetic, tech-savvy, and customer-focused Sales Representatives to join our teams in San Francisco East Bay In this hybrid inside/outside sales role , you'll guide homeowners and commercial clients from first inquiry through signed contract--combining virtual consultations, field visits, and digital tools to provide a professional, educational, and efficient sales experience. If you're organized, strategic, love meeting people, and can leverage technology to close deals, we want to meet you. *What You 'll Do: *Inside Sales (Pre-Sales & Virtual Consultations) * Respond promptly to new leads and inquiries (text, email, and phone) * Use tools like Calendly, Google Maps, and CompanyCam to evaluate properties virtually * Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer needs, project goals, and site constraints * Educate customers on fence styles, materials, and permitting requirements * Schedule and conduct remote or in-person consultations * Maintain clean notes and handoffs using CRM and team collaboration tools Outside Sales (Site Visits & Estimating) * Visit customer properties to capture photos, measurements, and site-specific details * Use smartphone-based technology to document fencing conditions, terrain, and layout * Collaborate with internal estimators and operations to develop proposals * Walk customers through pricing, timelines, and expectations * Convert estimates into signed contracts with a consultative, value-driven approach Who Are You * You have 1-2 years of previous sales or customer-facing experience (construction, home improvement, or outdoor services a plus) * You enjoy problem-solving and asking the right questions to uncover customer needs * You're comfortable navigating mobile apps and digital tools (e.g., Ring Central, Google Workspace, CRM) * You're organized , proactive, and detail-oriented * You have a valid driver 's license, reliable transportation, and a smartphone with a good camera * You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently Preferred (But Not Required) * Bilingual (Spanish/English) * Experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, or home services * Familiarity with project scoping or estimating * Experience with tools like CompanyCam, PandaDoc, Front, or HubSpot What We Offer * Uncapped commission * Training and onboarding with hands-on mentorship * Access to company tech tools (apps, CRM, quoting systems) * Growth potential in a fast-growing franchise with a strong local reputation * Supportive, mission-driven team focused on quality and customer satisfaction Schedule * Full-time, including some weekend availability * Must be available for local travel within your territory Apply today to join a rapidly growing team that's modernizing the fencing industry--one satisfied customer at a time.
