Overview: Kaplansky Insurance, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager. Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of US business. We work closely with clients to help them make meaningful and informed decisions every day when it comes to protection and their future. Responsibilities: * Manage personal lines insurance policies (home, auto, umbrella, flood, etc.) * Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverages * Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure accurate policy placement and underwriting practices * Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling to enhance client coverage and satisfaction Qualifications: * 3 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance as an account manager * Valid Massachusetts Property and Casualty License * Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and services * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in agency management software (Applied Epic) * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employment: Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.
