Full description of the position

Job Description: Building Automation Systems Sales Engineer focusing on developing new HVAC DDC controls/Building Automation System business as well as maintaining existing customers in commercial and government construction markets. Duties and Responsibilities: * Review contract drawings and specifications to generate costs during the bid process * Track subcontractor bids, project bid dates, and communicate with customers. * Attend job walks and interact with general contractors. * Prepare complete estimates and proposals for projects of all sizes ($10k - $1M+). * Ensures a smooth transition from sales to operations on contracted work. * Basic Qualifications: * Experience reading and understanding control, mechanical and electrical drawings. * BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. * At least 3 years experience in DDC controls, either as a project engineer, technician, installer, or similar. * Experience selling HVAC/MEP/DDC controls and systems * Solid understanding of mechanical and control systems * Experience with and thorough understanding of BACnet/Modbus/Lon * Ability to work independently as well as part of a project team. * Ability to work on strict deadlines without supervision. * Excellent communications skills Compensation structure is base salary + commission.
