Overview: As experts in protecting what matters most to individuals, we're looking to bring on our next Personal Lines Rater to support our Personal Lines department with renewal and new business activities within established production capacity. What You'll Do: * Screen transactions to determine authority and process and / or refer to underwriter per established guidelines. * Input transactional information and rating elements into automated system with a high degree of accuracy. * Review output to ensure proper rating elements were applied. * Maintain underwriting documentation using paperless policy environment per established guidelines. * Research and resolve complex issues and respond to inquiries to provide superior customer service to agents and other departments. * Collaborate to determine department's production planning & capacity utilization and distribute work as appropriate.
