Position Summary: Drab to Fab is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales & Construction Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, providing accurate project estimates, and building strong client relationships. You will play a crucial role in the success of our company by identifying and securing new business opportunities and ensuring profitable project execution. Key Responsibilities: * Sales & Business Development: * Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, client referrals, and online marketing. * Conduct site visits to meet with potential clients, assess project needs, and gather necessary information for accurate estimating. * Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates, including material costs, labor costs, and equipment costs. * Present proposals to clients in a professional and persuasive manner, highlighting the value of Drab to Fab's services. * Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up. * Construction Estimating: * Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate project scoping and budgeting. * Review plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and develop effective solutions. * Research and source materials from reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. * Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques. * Project Management Support: * Assist with project scheduling and coordination as needed. * Monitor project progress and address any potential issues that may arise during construction. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred. * 2+ years of experience in landscape construction estimating or a related field. * Proven sales and customer service experience. * Strong understanding of landscape construction principles and practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 1 Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, Timberline) * Knowledge of landscape design principles * Experience with project management software Employee Benefits (Eligibility begins after 60 days of full-time employment): * Health Insurance: * Medical & dental insurance with 75% company-paid premiums. * Paid Time Off (PTO): * Accrue 40 hours of PTO per year on a monthly basis. * Retirement Savings: * 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions. * Education Assistance: * Tuition reimbursement for the Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture program (or similar local horticulture/construction program), including all fees, books, and parking.
